Cool Content, Vol.2

When I first saw this girl I just couldn't take my eyes off her absofuckinglutely flawless face.

She wrote to me one day saying she wanted to model my swimsuits and I would have had to be a gigantic imbecile to say no.

Since I like to consider myself a non-gigantic imbecile, I went to the shoot where some great pictures were taken, and some great crustless salami sandwiches were eaten.

Take a look!

Cosmic Dancer

So continuing with the introduction of my swimsuit designs, here is one that is everybody's favorite: the Cosmic Dancer! (which is also an awesome T-Rex song to listen to while ice-skating, or dancing, or just swinging your arms around, in slow motion of course)

When I saw that Ice Cream fabric for the first time I knew it would end up becoming a swim suit. So yeah.

And then there's another Cosmic Dancer with a Rose fabric:

This one is actually the one Lily of LePrettyStellar and Dani from Nany's Klozet chose.

And now, picture extravaganza!

Which one's your favorite??

Peace!

Coney Island Baby

Okay, if you clicked here thinking you'd see pictures of sunny skies and rolling waves, then I'm sorry to disappoint.

Apart from being one of my favorite Lou Reed's songs, Coney Island Baby is the name of one of my favorite swim suits from the La Belle Rebelle's s/s 13 collection.

Hope you like it! Feedback always welcome :)

And then some campaign shots:

Have a fucking fantastic weekend!!!!!!

If Sofia Coppola and Harmony Korine had a kid.

This is what it would look like in the form of a fashion campaign.

My gorgeous, talented and brilliantly neurotic friend Pibe Quevedo and I had the challenge of making a swimwear campaign without ANY of the swimwear campaign cliches (that is beach, poolside, hotel, yatch, you get me) and I believe we did a pretty good job!

It all started with these moodboards Pibe prepared to get a feel of the story and the overall aesthetics.

So after many sleepless days and nights of cleaning, setting and Jack Daniels shots, this is how it turned out: the official La Belle Rebelle campaign!

All shot by the uber-talented Juampi Bonino.

Likey likey??
